Board Member BioJeffrey M. WissmanJeffrey M. Wissman born and reared in Lancaster, CA attended public schools there and was graduated by Antelope Valley High School in 1965. Continuing his education at Antelope Valley College he received an Associate Arts degree after which he was graduated cum laude by California State University-Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science degree in January 1970.After graduation Mr. Wissman began a career in public accounting with one of the then "Big Eight" accounting firms, Haskins & Sells, CPAs. In 1972 he became a Certified Public Accountant and moved from southern California to Humboldt County in northern California. After relocating he has continued in his profession as a CPA, first in partnership with the late Robert Bruce Sweet and now as a sole practitioner. He also co-founded a popular pizza restaurant and an ice cream shop in Arcata, CA shortly after his move to Humboldt County. Mr. Wissman lives near Eureka, CA with his wife, Barbara Armstrong, and son, Alexander. |
